Image-making by way of accretion; throwing together visual materials from different times and viewpoints (by way of repeated trips through the printer) to create analogies through relational meanings. This method seems to be an appropriate response to the materials I'm working with - layers of different tastes, voices and clashing values revealed by undoing and doing up a house. 

It's a method that encourages the production of strained metaphors, as outlined so eloquently by Christoph Niemann's Periodic Table of Metaphors:
