The Triangle: HATCH @ RWA Drawing Lab, 2017

HATCH participated in the Drawing Lab, the practice component of Royal West of England Academy's biennial exhibition 'Drawn' 2017. This is the 3rd iteration of 'Drawn' and HATCH's 3rd invitation. Our project, 'Fake News/Real Drawing', saw HATCH operating a news desk in the Drawing Lab space. HATCH members near and far, along with RWA visitors, collaborated on 'The Triangle', a mock newspaper of fanciful items, with a tagline: “Making the real fanciful, and the fictional plausible.” Check hatch-drawing.org for purchase details for a limited edition analogue version. Special thanks to imaginative collaborators: Stephanie Black, Penny Clark, Anwyl Cooper-Willis, Arantxa Echarte, Joel Edwards, Laura F. Gibellini, Lynn Imperatore, John Kilburn & Luke Thompson, lucianart.com, Karen Mead, Otto, Carolyn Stubbs, Betty Summers & James Fullalove, Luise Vormittag, Theo Wood, Stephanie Wooster, and all our anonymous correspondents in the Drawing Lab.
